The roofing is done by an independent contractor under the agreement you signed with them. We chose that contractor and booked the job, so we take complaints about both, raise yours with the contractor and stay on it until it's settled. A pattern of complaints ends our work with a contractor. Insurance coverage decisions belong to your carrier; we document damage but never decide coverage, and we never waive or cover a deductible.
You don't have to go through us. You can contact the North Carolina Department of Justice Consumer Protection Division (ncdoj.gov), the permit office that issued any permit for the work, such as Mecklenburg County's LUESA, or, for a licensed contractor, the NC Licensing Board for General Contractors. For South Carolina jobs, that state's consumer and licensing offices apply. Nothing here limits your rights under your agreement or the law.
